Create your own Tile
What is a Tile?
If you want to reuse the same content across multiple pages of your site, and to be able to maintain and manage it in one place - you should use Tiles. Tiles give you the ability to create reusable content which is rendered in the context of the attached page, and can be inserted on other pages. If you have a working Sitecore instance with scaffolded SCORE 2.5+, then you already have 3 tiles attached to your Content Page template: Default, Autocomplete, Search Result. The last two are used by Content Search components. Default works as a fallback if the page does not have the requested tile.
Tiles Management
Nothing is easier to manage than Tiles. Open Experience Editor and just below the Ribbon you can see the "View Tiles" bar.
Where are Tiles located within the content tree?
All tiles are stored within the content tree under the associated content item.
Can I have a general Tile for all pages within the same Template?
In order to avoid polluting the content tree, you can create Tiles under the __Standard Values of the Template. Such Tiles will be taken by the SCORE as Template-level Tiles, and they can be overridden for each particular Item by creating a Tile with the same name at the Item level.
Customize your Tiles experience
To load Tiles from external sources or modify available Tiles to follow your business logic, you can patch pipeline /sitecore/pipelines/score.tiles:
